Real references. Actual rebuilds. See both play side by side.

It reconstructs what moves, when and how far — as a scene made of real layers, not a screen recording.
Swap the words, the colours and the timing until the motion is yours instead of theirs.

Read the guide ↗MotionClone is a local Windows app that uses an AI coding agent to rebuild a reference video as editable motion graphics. It reconstructs text, shapes, artwork, and animation in a HyperFrames project, with synchronized original and rebuilt playback.
The local MotionClone repository is available to download without a MotionClone subscription. AI analysis requires your own ChatGPT account access through Codex; account pricing and usage limits are separate. The hosted version is in early access, and hosted pricing has not been announced. No project-wide open-source license has been assigned.
You can rebuild reference motion for title sequences, feature callouts, animated typography, and product launch graphics, then edit the exported project. Start with your own reference or one you have permission to use. MotionClone does not record your product workflow or generate a finished demo from a script alone.
The current local workflow uses the official Codex CLI with a ChatGPT login. Exported HyperFrames projects contain editable code that a coding agent can work on. Other agent integrations are not built into the documented workflow.
Export a rebuilt video, an editable HyperFrames project ZIP, or an original-versus-rebuilt comparison MP4. Comparison formats include landscape, portrait, and square. Reconstruction is approximate; review text, fonts, photographs, and complex motion before publishing.
The public website offers an early-access online studio and actual reconstruction examples. The studio requires sign-in and a separate ChatGPT connection; processing depends on its worker being online. The local Windows app is also available through GitHub. Selected reference frames are sent to ChatGPT for analysis.
Connect your ChatGPT account and turn a public video into editable layers. Review the match, then download your video or project.
Open MotionCloneSign in with ChatGPT to access your private projects. Connect your ChatGPT plan separately to power rebuilds; you enter your password only on OpenAI’s sign-in page. Selected reference frames are sent to ChatGPT. Videos and account connections are stored privately on our processing computer. Disconnect in the studio to remove its ChatGPT access. Reconstruction is approximate, and processing requires the worker to be online. For project deletion or earlier waitlist requests, contact @waselyyy on X.
